Preston Lane is an actor, writer, and director. The Boone native picked Greensboro for his artistic home, where he co-founded Triad Stage in 1999 with his partner Rich Whittington. Preston’s directed more than 50 productions at Triad Stage. He is also the author of 20 plays, and was recently was awarded a three-year playwriting residency with the Sally and Don Lucas Artists Residency Program at the Montalvo Arts Center, in California.
