Kashayia Coltrane will graduate June 8 from Eastern Guilford High. She leaves as a honor student, a four-sport athlete, a leader and a mentor. She now heads to college looking to major in biology and enter the medical field to help other people. “Graduation means everything,” she says. “It means a new chapter. Independence. Being on my own. I am ready. I am ready to grow for me.”
