Sam and Pam Misher, have more than 60 years of public-school experience between them. They’ve both worked in Guilford County and Greensboro most of their career, and earlier this year, they started inside a Greensboro church a charter school known as Next Generation Academy.
Kennedy Misher, the youngest daughter of two veteran educators, graduated May 24 from the Early College at Guilford, a place U.S. News & World Report has ranked as North Carolina’s No. 1 public school. In August, she’ll enter N.C. State to study biomedical engineering. Of her parents, Misher says, " They brought out the drive in me."
