She graduated from Kiser Junior High in 1972. She's now 59, living in Durham and working at Duke University. This fall, she paid for a recirculating water feature in honor of her mom, Delia Turner White, the school's former PTA president.
At least 50 alumni and two former teachers came together Saturday to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Kiser Middle School. The Kiser Alumni Association put together the celebrate to honor the school's recent accomplishments, its illustrious past and its newest milestone. Named after former mayor and school board chairman, Claude Kiser, the school turned 60 this year.
